Facebook sends drones to space
Social media giant plans to enter the stratosphere by placing drones the size of jumbo-jets 17 miles above the Earth. The idea is to provide wireless internet access to more than four billion people - that’s around two thirds of the global population who currently are unable to get online. These plans will require as many as 90,000 drones to be specially located at various points around the globe, with project taking an estimated five years to complete. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/facebook/11120639/Facebook-drones-the-size-of-jumbo-jets-to-soar-17-miles-up.html
